May showers brings lots of flowers

Wow in the last couple of week we have gotten almost 10 inches of rain !!!Praise the Lord we needed and it is so nice to be able to blossoms every where from Apple tree to poppies are now open to my favorite Lilacs. As I have been ask you all to pray for my husband on some decisions on a job he has a job now and it is in Casper Wyoming and so we will be going down there to get him settled for six months and then back to the area. It is about a four and half hour drive there so we will see each other on weekends.

As this week started out we had lots of flooding going on and lots of webbed feet needed to get around!!! LOL. Here is some really awesome pictures of the Belle Fourche River this is actually across the street from my sons apartment.

Then yesterday was my hubby and my 11th Anniversary so it was so nice to come home to two sweet vases with Lilac in them I love them!!!!

So I will keep you posted on update with hubby keep praying for him in this transition.

Believing with your HEART......

As I was getting up this morning with River spending the night at grammy and papa house. My mind going oh I will just stay home and take a nap and as everyone was getting ready for Church the praise and worship playing as I was rocking him.. I am waiting.......I will serve you.... I will worship.... I will NOT FADE.... While I am waiting...this kept playing in my mind as I was sitting there River sleeping by this time and I thought to my self how can I serve...how can I worship.....while I wait here I need to Believe in all my heart that the Lord has this plan for us to hear his love and to believe it with all our hearts!!!

In Proverbs 3:3 it says Do not let kindness and truth leave you ; Bind then around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart!!! Write the good in the tablet of your heart... and BELIEVE in your heart that all things are possible threw HIM!!!!

As our family have been going threw some changes we are Believing in what HE wants for us!!!!!!

As the service went on and there was a gentleman that came up to give a word and it just touch my spirit so much it was amazing. As it has rained all afternoon yesterday and then all day today and we are so thankful for it. I have so blessed!!!! The word was this and it touch me sooo much... while the drop fell the puddles were formed and then the water ran forming our creeks, dams to be full to fill the rivers and it is like our hearts that is filling our heart with the spirit of love to share to others!!!! REJOICE in HIM today and every day!!!!

Rain...Rain...Gotta LOVE it

As the week began we had five days of rain in the forecast. I kept thinking to myself yuck the kids at work were going to be stuck inside. Tuesday rolled in with the nice slow rain all day it was so awesome we got about three inches of rain that day and it was heavenly. Wednesday and Thursday we had some more at work kids looked for worms outside and played with them it was so fun!!!!

I have this sweet little three year old Asian girl that hate spiders, flies and bugs but yet played with worms and thought they pretty cool! It make my heart patter when I see that any child that is having fun in the mud and bugs and worms and GOD BEAUTY!

As I was looking up in Bible on the kindle this morning I came across this verse that touch me with many things Zechariah 10 Ask rain from the LORD at the time of spring rain---- The Lord who makes the storm clouds; Ans He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man.

As Thursday came and the rain was just showering us with love, our youngest daughter had her 8th grade graduation. It was hard for this mommy to see her baby going to High school next year! LaNaya we are so very proud of her and who God has made to her be!!!!

As I woke up on Friday to sounds of thunder it was amazing to here that I loved the peaceful rain that fell.

Friday was our last day of school I was just like the kids at school wanting to be done with school. As we finished our pre school day we played outside in the wet grass and was blowing colored bubbles that do stain LOL and chalk and I was enjoying the beauty that was all around us from apple tree blooming to Lily of the Valley just opening . to poppies with rain drops on them!!!! As we finished up our afternoon and went to play outside we found an unopened robin egg and a piece of one as well.

I would like to add this as well. My dear hubby Dan had a second interview this week on a job that he would have to do the training in Casper, Wyoming he would have to stay there for 6 months and train and then relocate possibly . We will find out for sure if he get this job or not this week so please pray that they HIS WILL BE DONE not sure what to say other than that if He has better plans for us that is ok !!!! So please pray for that PLEASE!! We also share our anniversary this week I am so excited 11 years!!!

SNOW in May,,,,,

As I woke up this morning and dear hubby went to a men breakfast to fellowship with other great men!!! We had snow on the ground I though to myself are you SERIOUS!!!!! So I curled up with a nice blanket made by a friend of mine and read for a couple of hours while he was gone!!!!

As the day went on it was sure cool like 45 with clouds and wind so it was chilly. River came to visit today while mommy was working it was sooo much fun to see him crawling and standing around everything and eating real food!

As The after noon came and I was making supper and my parents came in and we talked about basket socials and how they were in the country school. I thought I would ask any of my followers if they recalled anything like them and some memories of them if you did!

Grand Babies who I love sooo much

Lets see where to begin as I sit here this late Friday night. I have a dear friend who is having a give away at the Prairie Flower Farm Blog... I love this sweet friend Linda . She mentioned what I put in a basket dinner and this is something I thought about and the more I thought about it it reminds me of my family talking about Basket Socials.... gotta love the memories they shared about this!

Dad who will be in his late sixty's this June and I recall a time when he would tell me the stories of them at the end of the school year --this was country schools- they would have a basket social they would make a special basket with a meal in it and they would auction it off hoping it would be something really good. One time they did it and said it was from his sister who raised him and it was a "cow pie" and wild onions!!! Those two little boys my dad and his nephew were in lots of trouble but it is still talk of those two never to talk a basket of food from them!

I wanted to share a couple of recipes that I would put in a basket dinner!!!

Chicken Salad

1 chicken breast cooked and chopped

1/4 C grapes

1/4 C walnuts

1/4 C sour cream

1 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tsp chives

Combine all ingredients except for the chicken, Add chicken just before serving. Serve on croissants.

Ramen Noodle and Broccoli slaw salad

1 16 oz broccoli slaw pkg

package of chicken ramen noodles

a broccoli floweretts

1 bunch of green onions

1/2 sugar

1/4 C vegetable oil

1/3 cider vinegar

/2 to 1 c sunflowers

In large bowl combine slaw, broccoli floweretts, onions. Cook noodle til tender and cut up. Set aside. In another bowl whisk together the sugar,oil the ramen noodle season packet. Pour over salad mixture and toss the noodles lightly in also . Just before serving put in the sunflowers. I also like to put olives in this recipe as well.

As nice is getting into the morning hours I wanted to say to enjoy these recipes and let me know you think!! For those of you that are praying for my family my hubby has a second inter view this next week so please pray for HIS WILL BE DONE! He has been out of a job for nine months WOW where has the time gone! Oh I almost for got I went to a project days with my daughter for 4H the other day and we made this out of a clay like stuff here is what I made it will more than likely become a necklace for and ROAK!

Rain.....Rain....

As the rain fell this evening, the amazing smell outside!! FRESH gotta love it! Today as I was teaching about is worms and so we went digging for some while we planted some seeds. I love the words that come out of little peoples they are so sweet and innocent . I had this sweet gentle little three year old girl come to me and say to me "Mrs Betty Jo I don't want to touch those things they are goose" as I chuckled I replied to her that it was ok and you did not have to touch that. As I went in after planting seed I read this cute book called RAINING WORMS a local author I love it and it walked about this little person thinking worms come from the sky when it rains. So my little three year old came to me and said

"I see Mrs Betty Jo they rain from the heavens and they are not goose Jesus clean them" my heart just melted .

I just wished I had my camera I wanted to share some pictures. Well will take it to see if I can get some of this sweet little girl.

As I am off tomorrow our four chicks that we hatched at school I will be taking them to the farm and spending some time with hubby and making some goodies.

The other thing that I want to share is I have some he goodies~~

Happy Mothers Day

As I woke up this morning sun shinning so bright. I got ready to go to church it is so awesome to go to church and feel the love of our heavenly Father! As my dear hubby has been out of work for nine months and we are so concerned about something coming open~~he will find out about a job that he applied for this week it has two catching it means to relocate to Wyoming and leaving all of our grown children and grand babies. So if your are reading this we would apprecaite all the prayer !! We believe that HIS WILL is done in our lives! So today as I told our oldest son Lars and Keeley he is pretty sad but like I told him it is a SEASON and it GODS season for all things to be done!!! So we weill find out more this week ...Keep posted!!!





I have also taken some time to sow seeds today as I was working in the yard to work off some of our yummy lunch and to enjoy the 70 degree day. Seeking HIS will ... I did plant some seeds that I recieved from a seed swap from Gert--thanks cant wait for the well needed rain to comin tonight and possible showers tomorrow.





Now that the sun is setting the hockey game is one and I can swith my fixed lap top and reflect it is amazing to get this done off of my list to do! Thanks for the prayers for our family after living in our house for 11 years and raising our children except for our youngest who is 14 ....LORD LET YOUR WILL BE DONE NOT MINE

Wow where did the week go....

Boy where do I start.... as the week started I STARTED with a new Kindle which I LOVE LOVE , I am still getting acquainted with it !

Wow we have been having some nice weather here from super wind last weekend to some nice days at the beginning of the week to windy today but that is all fun too.

Our chicks at work that hatched are sooo cute they are really growing!!!!! Then as we are getting ready to wrap up the school year we have been doing lots with flowers, bugs and boy is it fun to see the OOOOO and YUCK get it away.... kids are such a joy!!!!!!

I have lots to share with chicks for the kids to see them hatching ! Then I had a great day off and my sweet hubby and I planted trees I am so excited. then went to visit our granddaughter--my miss princesses. !!!

I will share some more later.......sorry I am tired and need to finish up some loose ends........

One more things I wanted to add was I took some time one day that I was off and made this cute little take along pillow with a pocket to hold a book or something simple for the kids on the go. What do you think?

A beautiful Sunday......

After a day that the wind blew upto 77 mph yesterday. It was awful ! Iwa so blessed and got a kindle so i am tring to see if I can blog from it. I LOVE it.

As our daughter is returning rom and awesome weekend in Denver and getting filledwith the love of Jesus.
