Honor to those who have served our country

Wow today as we THANK those who have and are serving for our Freedom. THANK YOU!!

As a parent of a son who has been in the armed forces it is such an honoring thing to see men and women fighting for our freedom. I recall a time while my husband and I were on our way back after seeing our son graduate from basic training and me as a mom wanting him in no part of this it was "my baby" it was such a prideful thing to me and coming home in the airport he did wear uniform and the people who would come and thank him for his service--it was a prideful and honoring thing to see as a mom "as he was gone a moms heart hearts of fear but the Lord was my comfort and to know that he is currently home and no long active in the military--"Thanks Son" You are a Blessing to me!

Thanksgiving Time

Wow here it is the time we all need to be a little more Thankful. I have lots to be thankful for the one and for most is the all of family is safe--I knowt hat it is jsut a small token as I look back a year ago my son was to leave and go to Iraq and so I am thankful he is here and is now going to be making me a grandma soon !!!! MY family is jsut a joy and a blessing to me and the other thing that I think of is those people who have put little tidbits into our lifes that last a life time and I had an aunt that is like that and we need to treasure those memories forever.

Enough of that I have been busy with teaching and school and trying to get some tatting done and so there are things that so awesome is to be able to have those tatters show others and mentor people like me THANKS!!!!
